Lol out of all the times people tell me to do the jump with them, I can't even figure it out lol.

Simply: YES.
***ONLY read the rest of my post for an in-depth view.***



IN-DEPTH:
BOTH YES AND NO.

YES- A person/Dog needs to be in the right spot for you to initiate you bayonet jump.
NO- The person you use to do your bayonet jump doesn't have to know what you're doing.

Aware+Willing/Purposely get into position for you to bayonet jump = Partner

Unaware+At right place at right time ≠ Partner = Apparatus = U53D N A8U53D N008

ALSO- Is a dog considered since it's not a person?

BUT, to simply answer the ?- YES!
