Its a sorta glitch which only occurs to some people. There was a post a while back about it where a guy had prestiged but kept all of his perks wepons etc. It just happens its a glitch. A lot of people say you'd enjoy it but you'd probably not it'd be really boring after a while.

that happen to me once in COD4, but not like that. I was leveling up pretty fast, i think like 30, to 40 in like 1 hour, my connection was bad that day, i turn my ps3 off, and iam back at 30. I was sooo pissed!

couldnt just be a random glitch the guy said he does it every prestige. and on top of that every personin his squad had them at low levels. he said its just the perks not the guns though.
and what do you mean it would be boring after a while that would be the quickest way to level 65 10th prestige

Yeah but the point of prestiging is earning our stuff back not playing with the same guns

you dont get your guns back from what he said its just all the perks
i can feel where your coming from but with keeping the perks i wouldnt mind that one bit. i hate trying to prestige and play clan matches without my dead silence. it really sucks!
i can use any gun that doesnt matter they all kill the same. but having to wait so long and play clan matches without the perks that i need that just plain sucks.
personally id rather do this glitch get to 10th prestige faster and be able to concentrate more on my clan matches after that.
