Here are the steps:

1. Make a private match (DO NOT START IT)
2. Press Circle(PS3 controls)
3. Press Cross and Circle at the same time (PS3 controls)
4. You should press 'Play online' again or you get a pop-up saying 'o you want to leave the party?'
5. If you get the pop-up choose 'No'
6. You should see your name on the right-side but no level.
7. Click on 'Find match'
8. Click on Boot camp.

PS: You only can play boot camp if you get host, if you don't get host, you will get kicked out of the game because you are level 8+

lol i do this all the time exept it doesnt matter what rank you have to be when im hosting lol. Its funny noobs are like why am i flying? This game sucks! or "Am i playing halo?" xD funny shit
