well i first of all didint even know i had a 13 killstreak in search and destroy and second there are only 11 other players in a search and destroy game and my friend said that sometimes u lag when u search for SnD and u get put in team deathmatch now maybe if u get a killstreak in that teamdeathmatch then it will give u a high killstreak in SnD

Yeah, you cant kill that many people in a round. Probably lag.

your kill streak definatly does not carry over through rounds, so i think he is just lying

Lolz, I love people who says hes lying. Most of you prob have ps3 and have never played teh 360 version of cod5. Each game mode has its own stats (TD,DOM,HQ,SND,Waw,etc..) Now, it's a glitch in the game, you'll, for example, pick domination, play a game, and without knowing, itll switch to search and destroy. ie; could switch between any 2 game modes at any given time during the game/lobby, therefore making your previous domination 13 killstreak a 13 SnD killstreak.

that's true. when i played my friend's 360 it happened to me but it doen't happen on my ps3

He is right, sometimes the gamemode changes due to lag and turns into a different game other than search and destroy (TDM). Then get a kill streak, thats how I done it on xbox.
