I love the MP40, because it can own at Long and close combat range. Though, the Thompson is beastly for hip fire when you gotta do a little sprayin'n'prayin. :P

The MP40 is my favourite weapon in the game but the Thompson is good and I use it sometimes.

The range on the MP40 does hurt it but the damage from close to medium range is good. Also, 20 bullets in the Thompson (I'm a silencer person, not a round drum) is a joke so

MP40 > Thompson
