What You Need To Dropshot

You Need :
Quick Fingers
Button Layout On "Tactical"
Basic Skills With A Submachine Gun
Knowing The Maps.

Pro's And Con's

The Pro's

Good For Search And Destroy
An Easy Way To Trick/Catch-Out Your Enemy
Accuracy Increased
Enemy Less Likely To Hit You

The Con's

The Enemy May Spray And Kill You Before You Can jump
You Dont Always Go Prone When You Land
You Cant Turn As Much In Prone
You May Lose Sight Of The Enemy

Button Layout?

The Layout Of Your Buttons Is Very Important For The Drop shot.

using the tactical button layout is the most common. yet some people do use default. to change your layout go to START - OPTIONS - BUTTON LAYOUT - TACTICAL. the tactical button layout switches your melee attack with your crouch/prone. so now to crouch/prone you use your right analog stick ( for xbox and ps3) and your melee with be "B" forxbox or "O" for ps3 the whole point of changing your layout is so that you can go into prone and be able to aim with your analog stick.

So What Is A "Dropshot"

Simple. the dropshot is a technique used for tricking your Enemy. by either jumping up going into prone and shooting or just going into prone and shooting. yet its not as simple as it sounds. i prefer jumping and going prone but everyone is diffrent. okay so here it is step by step guide.

1. once you see your enemy aim (zoom in) at them
2. jump up in the air(whilst still aiming)
3. when you are about to land go into prone ( Pushing the analog stick)
4. you should still be aiming
5. now shoot at your enemy

Well done youve done your first ever dropshot.

A few things to remember .

This must be done quick before your enemy can get a target on you.

only use this for close combat.

Dont forget your new controls. crouch is now your analog stick and melee is either B or O

Practise makes perfect.

Get used to your layout first!

Problem rule #16?
its a ligit strategy so i see no problem with it i use a bolt with a bayonet and this works well for me in cqc only issue is i hate knife being the O button so its harder for me to do but there confused when i go prone so i have time to cut off thre balls with a bayonet
