Post: How to get [****] clan tag to work

1. Enter **** as your clan tag.
2. Flip your switch.
3. Hit "Enter".
4. Wait for the tag to show up next to your name.
5. Flip Back.
To those who don't:
1. Enter **** as your clan tag.
2. Unplug your modem/router.
3. Hit "Enter".
4. Plug modem/router back in.
(DO NOT wait for the tag to show up before plugging back in. You don't want to get disconnected.)

i though lag switches didnt work on cod 5?

It works to some extent that's why you can use it in the lobby to bypass the error on the clan tag thing.
Here is another method to get **** in your clan tag if you don't have a lag switch, You will however need to be on a wired connection (ethernet cable hooked up to your ps3) for this to work.
Put in **** as your clan tag, Press start and pull out your ethernet cable from the ps3 at the same time. If done right when you sign back in you will have a cool new clan tag.
Both my methods will work on any text you put in your clan tag to bypass the error that says "clan tag denied due to prohibited text." Enjoy.

this is the way I did it: Edit your glan tag and have it ready. If you are using a router, pull out the power cable and press start as quickly after that as you can. If you have a wired connection, do the same, just pull out the ethernet cable from the back of your ps3. Now, log back in and there you have it!
