(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Going to be playing this mode for the first time tonight - it has a bit of an 'elite' rep to it so I've avoided it so far preferring HQ/TDM/FFA, in case I fcuk up on it and ruin someone elses game. However, I'm going to give it a go.

I've had a quick forum search and found a couple of decent hints/tips but nothing 'insider' like if you know what I mean.

Anyway, any tips would be great, like, 'don't go running straight off to the objective if you've got the bomb - sit and wait' for example (no-ones told me that, just something I've made up to give you an example).

Oh, and try and keep it easy to understand, so old farts like me can get it.:confused:

search and destroy is fun once you have your own strategies.

put a silencer with stopping power on best thing ever

don't forget to dodge rifle grenades at the start

Ok I love S& so I'll share some tips that I find effective.

1) Don't worry about other people's opinions, they don't count for jack.
2) When you have the bomb, don't go charging in to plant it, stay cool, calm and collected and check your corners.
3) NEVER EVER camp, you will, after one or two shots be found and easily disposed of.
4) Watch carefully in the first round where the people go and try to capitalise on it.
5) When planting the bomb, try not to plant it at the same place more than twice consecutively.
6)Don't waste your grenades trying to throw them at the enemy spawn, save them for when you really need them.
7)Try to use something with a supressor or be prepared for alot of enemies. Such as planting bettys on a main route to you.
When sniping, take the time to pick your shots, you dont want to wound them badly but have them run out of your sight.
9) Bomb squad is extremely useful for those pesky bettys and satchel charges swarmed around the bomb.
10) Use classes that you WANT to use and that are effective, not just ones to do challenges with.

Most importantly, just have fun and enjoy what your doing, don't make it feel like a duty that you have to be perfect otherwise it will just seem like a job.

Just keep playing it. The only way to get good at S& is to get to know the maps and what others tend to do on them.

RUSH is what you need to do. get a good class say mp40 dual magazines bomb squad juggernaut and steady aim run straight into there spawns. and kill them. dropshotting is a good technique to use. i wrote a guide for it somewhere so just search around youll find it. GL

I play SnD alot and here are some suggestions to help you start out.

- Never rush in to plant the bomb when you have it. It gets you 100 points when you plant but there's a chance some one can kill you.

- Before planting the bomb throw a special grenade on the opposite side of where you'll be planting the bomb. If you have betties plant one THEN plant the bomb.(Because after you plant the bomb you may not have enough time to plant a betty)

- Now find a good place to watch over the bomb and put a bettybehind you so you won't be flanked. But if you do die then atleast you know you planted the betty by the bomb.

DEFENDING:

- This is more of a rock paper scissors thing. You have to predict where the enemy will plant the bomb, depending on where they planted it last time...for example: The first two rounds they planted the bomb at A...most likely they will plant it at B this time.

- Be stealthy...if you're enemies don't know where you are, then you have a great advantage.

- If you're camping by the bomb site and time is running out toss a special grenade(not smoke) that will slow them down and give you a chacne to kill them.

-If you are the only one left on you're team and the enemy has 1 person left too and that person is planting the bomb, wait until the plant it then kill them. It will get you an extra 100 points for defusing the bomb

just use mp40 with supressor and perk 1 b squad, perk 2 juggernaut i no its noobish but if you want an edge use it !! and perk 3 steady aim !!! :D
