You cannot get shot whilst in the tree and its a kick-ass hiding spot.

how do you get the elevator trick to work was it a double crouch or go prone

I knew this before, I did it in the tree near the church (the other elvation glitch). The tank CAN hurt you. (Hurt me anyways..)

when you get up and try and walk to the end of the little wall, you get stuck. So you crouch walk and it lets you pass then you get to the wall and press crouch and it just floats you up. Very easy.
