This is The Kar98k/Colt .45 Shoot & Move Challenge. Looking for 1-3 more players to take this challenge with the objectives and restrictions listed below. Gamers will have to show serious skill in tactics and manuevering. Our best game will be posted on YouTube.






Weapons:

Kar98k
Colt .45
Thompson
Monkey Bombs
Bouncing Betty's
Grenades
Maltov Cocktails
Knife/Bowie Knife

Objective: Survive as many rounds as possible using only the eight weapons listed above.

Restrictions: 1. Under NO circumstances can the Colt .45 be traded out.

2. Teleporters must be linked as soon as points allow for this to happen.

3. The Thompson may be purchased, but as soon as you have accumulated enough points to upgrade either the Kar98k or the Colt .45, the Thompson must be traded for the Kar98k one round later. No exceptions!

4. Bowie knife and perks can be purchase, but not until AFTER both weapons are upgraded.

5. No diving into the mystery box to look for monkey bombs or malatov's until both weapons are upgraded.

As you can see at the beginning of this thread, I've inserted a Test Video of which I uploaded from my Droid X Phone. Visually, the quality isn't too bad...However, I was playing one handed while holding up the phone at the same time just long enough to get some manuevering in.

I'll be mounting my phone to a solid surface during the actual Solo and 2-4 Player Games that are about to happen here in the next few days. If anyone who has posted here on my thread has a better recording system, then we both should be doing it...we'll post the highest quality video.

Solo Run will get posted tonight. I have only half an hour to do this, so I'm only going to go as far as getting the Kar98k and the Colt .45 Upgraded. I will take a few minutes to run over the manuevering strategy and then quit. Sorry about this...Family men have very little free time!

Almost done with the first video when I made a rookie mistake and I ruined it...ahhh! Going to try again in a few more hours. Anyone up for it?

Update: I took two videos as I narrated a Solo round. It came out awesome, and actually looked like I knew what I was doing. However...killed myself with my own gun on a dog round (dammit).

Tried to post it to YouTube, but corrupted the file on my phone. Going to try and do this again tonight...or at least before Der Riese becomes a thing of the past with Black Ops Zombies.

Kryten80 and I made it up to Level 18. Anyone else having a go at it?
