Seems to me that this number has been hugely expanded in Der Riese. Once you get upwards of Level 30 or beyond, they seem to trail in endlessly.

Does anyone know the maximum number of zombies that can appear Per Player/Per Round in Der Riese? And if you do know this answer, does this number vary if you are playing Solo as opposed to a match with 2-4 players?

I know that when I play Solo, my start button will not let me see how many kills I have up to that point. This stat is only revealed when I am downed.

I don't know the exact amount however I'm very sure the number of zombies on solo compared to a 4 player online game is much lower. I play with 1 person online. There's not many zombies and there's always somebody covering your back.

A friend told me a while back that a maximum of 50 Zombies per/player could appear on the board...but that meant 50 Zombies physically in the map or approaching barriers. If this is true, it means the AI is still sending more Zombies out in the higher levels as the 200 on the board are being blasted and killed.

What I can say for sure is that from the view of the Catwalk, I have seen what appeared to be an endless stream of zombies coming from the Catwalk Window, the Tunnel, the Courtyard and the Mezzanines, to the point where an upgraded Waffle and 2 MG 42's could hardly slow the tide. I don't think it would be an exaggeration to state well over 100 Zombies were in view.

well it depends if your playing solo or not but I think the max solo is 25 or so give or take but with 4 people around round 30 or so it seems never ending LOL

At level 16: 80 zombies per Player
At level 30: 113 zombies per Player

Might not sound like alot, but in game it is.
