if you use the green wire and flip the switch then yes its a auto sign out...and if you use the orange and then flipped the switch you should be ok BUT if you on orange and still does a force disconnect, then its you PS3 network settings and or you kept the switch on to long.

im having the same problem with tha switch i just built... i did it with the orange wire but just get disconnected when i flip the switch... what would i need to change in my network settings

try setting up your manual ip address for your network settings.

Well I have used the orange wire definitely, not colour blind lol, and I tried manually entering the IP address and it still not working :S.

Really want to get this Lag switch to work cause it looks so awesome lol

does your router have a on/off switch, if so your lagswitch will not work if you use the orange wire. The best thing to do is just us the on/off switch or get another router.

if may also mean you are using it too long-you most likely will only get two-three seconds of lag before you get CONNECTION INTERUPTED

Dont hold it down to long and if you just press it a tiny bit you will never be able to lag
