I've just been wondering.. what is a montage?
is it a kill streak of some sort? or what?

a montage is just a video of a bunch of clips put together into one. Most clips will be highlights from matches like streaks, noscopes, collaterals, ect.
If you are thinking of making a montage try not to put together a bunch of single kill clips. Throw in some streaks because it makes a better video with better feedback.
