i thought that would work.. does the folder have the right disc id ?
you sure you're BLES00354 ?
check your disc to be sure..
double check everything in FileZilla to make sure all files are there..

You can update games even if you don't are in the latest firmware... I don't see the problem, just start the game without any update.

Oh, my fault, download The PSN Tool 2.0 You must login or register to view this content.
then openit and type BLES 00354, you should see Call of Duty World at War. Download the patch, and install it via Install package in the XMB (if you have Hermes v4) is not, use an install manager for create .pdb files.

i tried tht but for some reason it gives me an error i wanna download through filezilla but it gives me an error when it gets to 90% something about ECONNRESET

When i got that problem, I just restart the ps3 and all goes okay.

i did that and jailbroke it again then it says complete but when i go on game data utility WAW isnt there just mw2 ;(

Yes, because you don't really transfer the patch. Only things I can say:
1) Try to access filezilla from a different PC
2) Change your payload.
