renagade i have the same thing it happened the day makin day came out i went to level 61 got browning and it says its new when im at 63 i dont know wtf happened.

The same thing happens to me also. For me it usally goes away when I scroll down to view the "new" item, sometimes it takes a while to go away.

i think this started when the patch with makin day came out

try changeing the name of ur gun class
