erm but aot of are realy godd but if you look at the odds every gun vs MP40 (both shot same time) MP40 always win and also how come the M1 garand has so much recoil on it its the worse gun on the game. i was playin a game on night fire HQ and everyone except me was useing MP40 i was using M1 garand (fotr challenges it is realy crap) and i just kept getting kill i could no do anything i got killed like from 1 side of map to other before i could fire itss not that im crap its that everyon had more deaths than kills because everyon had like 20-30 kills because of MP40 i would like if they added special game mode like sniper only, rifle only, knife only, shot gun only and more games these would be fun and solve the problem

We all know the mp40 is overpowered.

Mainly because its ridiculous clip size, low recoil, and minimal hip accuracy. Not to mention it's super high power even without stopping power.

If the clip size was reduced (and the dual mag clip also), and the hip accuracy was expanded, it would make people complain much less.

But the mp40 most of the time only prevails in close combat. Most non-SMG's would wreck an mp40 further away.

I've used the mp40 quite a bit and agree with most ppl here that vs any other weapon close combat, the mp40 will win. I got bored of using it and started using the bolt actions without a scope. Now that's how you can tell how good of a COD player you are. If you can get more kills than deaths in a relatively smaller map, you are good. Best thing to do when you come up against an mp40, crouch or go prone and pop that a$$.

But d'you know what's worse? When people camp with the MP40, and when people couple Betties and Stopping Power/Juggernaught with it. Now that, is just plain being a noob. It ruins the goddamn game.

That leads to another problem. People don't use challenging weapons. How often d'you see someone going around with an non-scoped Arisaka, or perhaps a Double Barrel shotgun? Not very often, in my experience. People are constantly striving to be at the top of the leaderboard. I like to call them "killwhores".

On another note; the level of maturity of people in this thread is apalling. Are you all thirteen or something?

I personally do not think the mp40 is overpowered. With it's incredibly high recoil for an smg and its small fire rate, I think anyone could beat an mp40 with a type 100 or thompson. The reason why most of you hate the mp40 so much is because you think it is so unfair but it's really just because its overused.

LOL I read the 1st page of this thread and almost pissed myself. Why does everyone cry about the MP40. STFU girls. If your good it doesnt matter if everyone uses MP40 w/ jugg. I have an MP40 class: Its MP40 with dual mag, band, stopping and steady aim. Probally everyone here has an MP40 class they use, even the cry babies. All I do when I'm in a game with everyone using MP40 is change my class to either an STG with band, dbl tap, deep impact or PPsh w/ round drum, band, stopping power and steady aim. Those 2 classes will fck up an MP40 anyday so stop your damn crying, pull up your panties and play the damn game. If not go play Little Big Planet or something.

LFMAO my friend LOVES that game me and my other friends tryed to get him to play COD and he started complaing "This games stupid i wana play littile big planeeeettttt" LBP is a good game for when your board but over all when you see eveyone else on your friend list playing MGS4 and COD4-5 you start to relise what your friends may think when they see your playing LBP
