It's because the limit on COD5 is 7 bullets per second, so you shot faster than 7 per second and the game slows you down to 1 per second for the rest of the match, it's happened to me before and I asked Treyarch and that's what they told me!

It's to stop rapid fire controllers

alteast it does keep modded controllers out. i hate them so much on cod4 ( wouldnt mind getting one though)

o when i did that on 360 i was shooting to fast with my thumb and then i was stilltapping fast and then it started to slow down i thought i was pushing to fast on my triggers and messing them up

so in cod waw if u use a modded or rapaid cod waw is slowing it down so they cant cheat

mod controllers still work, well some of them still do anyway my m8 has 1 works class in private matches

This happens all the time to me. It's very annoying

You need to sign out of your profile and then sign back in. Congratulations on triggering the rapid fire controller, which is seven shots per second (if you were using your finger) That's one fast finger!
