Let me start out by saying that there is more than just a speed hack. There is No Clip (Which allows you to walk through walls and everything else) theres a god mode (Can't be killed) theres unlimited ammo, super jump, laser site, and of course slow mo and fast mo.

Now while I was reading around I saw that the hacks (which the people posting this only seem to acknowledge the speed hacks and nothing else) were a 'virus' that spreads to peoples Xbox's and causes the RRoD. This is only half true. And don't freak out when I say half true. It IS NOT a virus. It is a hack. It is done by hex editing a string, which causes slow/fast mo, into your online profile. And sense this is your online profile when you host a game people download the game settings from you like they normally would. So while they download the game settings they also download the speed hacks (Or any other hacks you have enabled). It may first appear that it is speeding your whole Xbox up but it's not. I can prove it.

In that video some where in the middle I'm showing how the game and not the 360 is sped up by showing time difference. The Xbox's clock is the same and the game clock is faster.
Also you can't just overclock the Xbox's CPU. That would require more than knowing how to hex edit. If you could overclock it then you could do anything to any game. Xbox live would be ruined. But this is not the case. Also Microsoft would have already released a patch to fix this because this is a major vulnerability on their end.

Does this cause the RRoD? It may seem like it but it doesn't. My friend got a RRoD using the hacks. Why? Because he was using the unlimited ammo hack and planted a lot of C4s and Claymores which over loaded the GPU. This part is not recommend. Also I hosted over 48 hours of gameplay using the double speed hack lettting people join in to play around and my Xbox didn't even get close to over heating. I have no cooling system on it other than the little fans inside which came with the Xbox. Mine is no different than yours.

You can argue with me saying that they did overclock it to speed it up but what about slow mo? Did they underclock it to achieve slow mo? Well that doesn't seem like it would be to helpful sense the game requires a certain speed to even play. Also the dashboard and everything else during the speed hacks are the same. Speed wise and loading wise nothing has changed. Especially loading wise. When you load the game it DOES NOT load faster. Which it would if the CPU was overclocked. But it doesn't. This is simply a mod and nothing else.

Another thing. The game is programmed to run at a certain speed only using what it needs from the CPU to run. So ever if the CPU was overclocked the game isn't gonna run any faster. Lets say this so called 'virus' made the game run at a faster CPU speed it would only improve game performance. Not speed the game up. I can install a game on my PC right now play it then overclock my CPU and play the game again and it will run at the same speed.
You would also need to access bios in the Xbox to set the speed of the CPU to run faster. This cannot be done. It will never be done. There isn't a virus on PC's that overclock your CPU are there? No. Why? Because you need to access to Xbox not from the Xbox OS but from Bios in the motherboard. You can't access it while it is running the Xbox OS. Also you said to get rid of the virus by restarting the game or your Xbox. Well that makes no sense then because that proves the virus is only temporary as if it was simply a setting downloaded from a host like I said it was in the first place. This is nothing but a mod and only a mod. Not a Worm or virus or anything else like that. Don't fear playing on it just cuz of what other people say about it. It is only the people who really hate treyarch and want to make them look bad and people who are pissed off because they can't do the hacks themselfs so they are trying to get rid of it completely.

Go ahead and try to post something proving me wrong cuz I can easily give you a reason to why it happens.

Yeah it isn't a virus, it is just a little hex editing which is infectious if you play with a player who has already got it.

Nope. The PS3 had there hacks. Now it's fixed. Also we can't access the files on the HDD for the PS3. So nope.

I've also been getting messages from people about hosting the hacks again. No. I will not host them again. If it wasn't for the mods here at NGU deleting my post for no reason then you guys would have known that I was hosting them.
