The other day my son was playing cod5 when someone that was on his friends list, infact in a clan he joined asked him for his password and username so he could enter them into a tournament. I told him not to give out that info but he didn't listen. Then later that day when my son was playing he was disconnected because the kid recovered his GT, immediatly deleted all his friends and bought microsot points and changed the GT.
I reported to microsoft but while the investigation is being done my sons account is frozen. (maybe a good lesson).
I've given out my gamertag information once before, and that was to a friend whom I;ve known for years and completely trust, so he could do the perk glitch. Why your son would be so foolish as to answer to "I needz ur acct info soz i can enter u in a tournament" is completely ridiculous. Best way to keep your account: PREVENTION.
Well if you punish your son by not letting him play with the Xbox, he will turn really sad. Get him a Wii, he can play online but can't have a friend's list because the Wii doesn't have that feature. The Wii can only have one account so no usernames or passwords. The Wii also has COD5(you might need an account for that).
