If your connection is good then you would have no problem. It's not a theory, it's fact.

Well, some things you need are:

-----Custom Firmware PS3 or Jailbroken 3.41(if you have this you will need another ps3 to do data transfer utility..)
-----World at War game disc(of course)
-----And a Modified patch
-----once you got a jailbroken ps3 or whatever look on the side of your ps3 world at war game disc and see the BLUS or BLES number
-----Then go to dev_hdd0-->game-->BLUS or BLES#####-->USRDIR-->then overwrite the patch with your custom patch

I know of this but i need a way on my ofw 3.60 PS3 i updaterdbut still have the 1st CL patch from karoolus and im never host....

Um, right now, there is no 3.60 CFW. You are going to have to wait, until, someone releases it..

What I normally do is when i have the same problem even tho i have a 20mb broadband. I play a normal game and when the next game starts i always end up HOST worked for me always but that might not be the case with you.

You need to be lucky to be host plain and simple.

Some luck is involved not fully as i can be host with uploading to you tube or even use my lag switch but I find it much easier to host after a single or couple of games. ALSO USING THE MENU ON A PRIVATE MATCH HELPS A LOT.

METHOD 1*Not My Method, Works 80%, Kinda a written Tut of The Kid's Using A Different site that works for me

1. Go to find match and go to whatever game you want to play but do not hit X or A yet.

2. Go on your computer and open up your internet browser.

3. Open up 3 Tabs and on each of them go to Speedtest.net

4.run a Speed test on 3 different servers, 1 for each tab,
*Note*
click servers near your area but not YOUR area.(I use this step, and found it works perfectly. ignore this method if you wish.)

5. Not enter the game match and you might be brought into a game.(It happens to me everytime).

However, back out really fast and try again. You will now be host.

Tried it on Bootcamp and works PERFECTO

METHOD 2 *Not My Method, But Works 99%

1.Go to you Computer and open your browser

2.Now upload something on RapidShare or YouTube Or Any Fileshare Site

3. While your File is being uploaded, Choose a Game on CoD and wait until you are host (You'll be host since your system connection is being Naturally Lagged

4. When you are host, Cancel Your Upload And Play CoD as host and ripp sum Mudda Fudgers.
