(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Call of Duty World at War Submachine gun guide! In this guide I will teach you about the different things you can do with an SMG. Dropshot, Ninja, Side-Stepping, Halo Jumping, Halo Jumping Dropshot, and just being a regular(Running around and killing people pretty much) Ok first of all-Maps. The best maps for submachine guns are the relatively smaller ones, but a ninja class can is more likely to prevail on the medium/big maps.

Drop Shooting:
Ok, well the best guns to use when your going to use the dropshot tactic are a thompson or a type 100. I like the Thompson better due to its higher accuracy. When you use the dropshot tactic Button Layout:Tactical is a must. This makes it easier to go prone and aim whilst doing so. To dropshoot you are going to want to go prone whilst shooting, making it harder for the enemy to kill you. This is very effective because most of the time People aim towards your upper body for faster kills, so when they do this you should be able to blow them to dust before they aim down to shoot you. You shouldn't even get damaged unless the enemy has a buddy by his side. The dropshot is better for maps like Asylum, Station, Castle, Hangar, and Courtyard. You dont want to drop shoot on very small maps (dome) because there are too many people around and you won't be able to single one person out. You also don't want to drop shoot on Large maps like Outskirts because it is hard to get close enough to people to get an accurate shot.

Ninja:
Ok..A ninja class is all about being sneaky, and silent. The best gun to use is an MP40 suppressed. You NEED Camouflage and Dead Silence..remeber sneaky and silent. A ninja class is all about being patient. Your not going to want to Run straight through every map like a maniac. You have to find the most hidden route. Since you have camouflage on you dont have to worry about enemy recon planes. The ninja class is best for medium maps such as cliffside or nightfire. It is not very effective on small maps because yet again there are too many people and it is hard to make yourself unseen.

Side-Stepping:
Side-stepping is probably the most simple tactics to learn, other than Regular. All you do is simply go side to side while shooting at the enemy. This is very effective because It is hard for the enemy to get a good shot. You want to use whatever SMG you think you do best with for side-stepping. The best maps for side stepping are smaller ones such as Courtyard or Hangar

Halo Jumping:
Halo Jumping is another easy, yet effective tactic. It is very similar to Side stepping but instead of stepping you jump. This is a good tactic because, yet again, it is hard to get an accurate shot with such movement. Everything else goes the same as side-stepping.

Halo Jumping Dropshot:
The Halo-Jumping dropshot tactic is probably the hardest to get the hang of, but it is by far the most effective. The best guns are thompson and type 100. Again, Your going to need tactical button layout. For the Halo jumping dropshot you have to jump up in the air, and just when your about to land you go prone, whilst shooting at the enemy. Like I said it takes a while to get the hang of but it is the most effective because the enemy looks up first to shoot you as you are jumping, but when your prone it is nearly impossible to aim at you fast enough before you kill him. The same maps as dropshot are best for the halo jumping dropshot.

Regular:
The Regular tactic is the most understandable..just remember run and gun. You can use whatever gun you do best with. All you do is basically run around and kill everyone in your path. The best maps for this tactic are small/medium maps such as Dome, Courtyard, Castle, etc.
