Even if you delete the game and re-install you will not loose your online level (pres 5) but will lose completed game. As your online score is ok when deleting the game as mine was

The same thing happened to me. But my game would freeze whenever i tried to play a game when i was signed in. If I was signed out it was ok.
Try fromating your playstation. Youll lose your gamesaves,music,pictures,videos but everything saved on your account/in the sever (EG: tropheys, your rank) will still be saved.
Not sure if this will help your problem but it helped mine.

if your gonna format ur ps3 make sure u put ur game saves on a memory stick so you dont loose them
