Different types of games in World at War multiplayer online.

The two types of gameplay: core and hardcore.

Core:
Core is the basic gameplay in Call of Duty World at War, it is what story mode is played on. It includes: normal bullet damage, full HUD, and includes killcam. The games in the core playlist include:
Boot Camp
Team Deathmatch
Mercenary Team Deathmatch
Free For All
War
Ground war
Capture The Flag
Search and Destroy
Headquarters
Domination
Sabotage
Team Tactical
Veteran

Hardcore:
Hardcore is harder than regular core if you are not used to it. The reson for this is because it includes: increased bullet damage, very limited HUD, no killcam, and in every game mode it has a respawn delay. Hardcore is only available online in multiplayer. The games in the hardcore playlist include:
Team Deathmatch
War
Search and Destroy
Free For All

Lets begin with the basic team deathmatch and boot camp shall we?

Team Deathmatch and Bootcamps' objectives are to use teamwork to reach the score limit. There is two teams of six. It is 10 minutes long, unless the 750 point score limit is reached. Bootcamp and TDM are the same thing, except for the fact that bootcamp is locked at level eight(Corporal I). Boot Camp is for people who are new to the game to try it out with people at their skill level. Mercenary TDM is completely random teams. it could be all 10th prestige vs all level 1s. It is random and not spread out fairly.

Free For All is basically a straight up deathmatch. Every man for himself. Kill everyone. Small maps only(no tanks) can be 4-8 players. Just kill everything that moves.

War's objective is to capture battlefield command points. Secure and hold all posistions to achieve victory. It is 6-12 players. Build momentum to capture faster.

Ground War is a mixture between TDM and War. It is 8-18 players. It switches between war and tdm, so one match will be tdm and the next will be war and so on. It is random.

Capture the Flag is as the name says, manuver to the enemy's flag, capture it, and return it to your base all before you die. This game mode is 6-12 players.

Search and Destroy is a game that takes patience. There is no respawning if you die(until the next round). The first to 4 points wins. The objective is to either defend or plant the explosives. It is 50 points per kill. 100 points to plant or defuse the explosives.

Headquarters' objective is to capture the HQ. There is a neutral base somewheres in the level. If your team captures it you get 1 point per second, it says +5 every 5 seconds. If your team captures it you must defend it. But there is no respawning until it is destroyed. If the opposite team captures it, your objective is to destroy it as soon as possible so the other team does not earn points.

Domination's objective is to capture the 3 flags in the level(a= able b= baker c=charlie). A B and C are all neutral at the beggining, normally each team starts on opposite sides of the map, each by one of the three flags. Your job is to capture, or defend the three flags for your team.

In the game of Sabotage a neutral bomb is in the center of the level and teams fight to destroy the enemy team's objective. First team to successfully bomb the enemy objective wins. This game could last 15 minutes or 1 minute. Some people like to play to just get kills and not plant, some try to plant.

Team Tactical is a 4 on 4 battle mixture between all of these game modes, much like ground war, it goes back and forth between most of these game modes.

Ah, and last but not least, Veteran. Veteran is regular TDM, but much like Boot Camp this is to play with people of your level. You must be level 32 to play in vetran mode(or in prestige).

i can see your point but like Shadow Rida said it is to help people that need it. Not everyone that is on here or that has cod5 is a dedicated gamer!

Nice post by the way, can see you took time to do it.

Fairs.
