SHI NO NUMA

Alright in this thread, I will explain the basics of every gun in Shi No Numa, if it's useful or not, and the ups and downs of it. I will also make a small, but helpful strategy for Shi No Numa. I will not mention any bolt-action rifles because all I can tell you about it is it's pretty much crap after wave 7.(Except PTRS but it's also useless after wave 15.) Lets start with the guns of Shi No Numa. Smile

SUB-MACHINE GUNS:
Sub-machine guns are one of the most common-used guns in Shi No Numa. Sub-machine guns are the spray and pray type. Careful, you might just run out of ammo at the wrong time.

Thompson:

Pros-The thompson has great firepower, great spray and pray gun. Great mobility. Ideal for run and gunning.
Cons-When it comes to spray and praying, ammunition runs out FAST. Very low clip, probably taking out at most 4-5 zombies per clip depending on the wave.

Against dogs-It's a good gun to use against dogs ONLY around the first two times. Pretty much useless after that. (Speed Cola may help it by a bit.)

MP40:
Pros-Great firepower. Ammunition lasts longer than most sub-machine guns. Good for both run and gunning and camping. Good mobility.
Cons-Low fire-rate. Pretty much useless against a horde of zombies after wave 20ish.
Against dogs-Better than a thompson. With a moderate fire rate, the MP40 can take out two dogs with a clip, but becomes weak around wave 20.

Type 100:

Pros-Good fire rate. Has a good clip twice as much as the Thompson. Good mobility.
Cons-Bad at hip firing. Pretty much a weak gun to use against zombies and runs out of ammo fast because of this.
Against dogs- It's and okay gun to use against dogs. It is, however, weak and not that efficient.

PPSh-41:
Pros-Has a huge clip. Best for taking out a horde. Ideal for both rn adn gunning and camping.
Cons-when misproperly used, it can run out of ammo withing 2 minutes. Fire power becomes weak towards zombies around wave 15ish.
Against Dogs-A must-use against dogs. Since the PPSh consists of such a big clip, it can take out at least 4 dogs per clip. Reload time is also good.

Machine Guns:

Machine guns are the types of guns that know how to "take out the trash." Machine guns can last a while and is ideal for camping and killing hordes.

BAR:
Pros-Strong firepower. Has a good clip to last for a while.
Cons-Slow fire-rate. Bad at hip firing. Slow Mobility. When zombies surround you and all you have is a BAR, you're ****ed.
Against dogs-Not recommended against dogs due to its slow fire rate and slow reload time. The BAR has a bad accuracy at hip firing, and you're goign to be hip firing a lot against dogs.

MG42:
Pros-Fast fire power as well as fire rate. Fast reload time. Really good against hordes of zombies and good at hip firing.
Cons-Ammo, when misused, can run out of ammo within 5 minutes. Really slow mobility and can get you killed when making a run for it.
Against dogs-Recommended against dogs. It has a good clip as well a good reload time. Able to take out at most 4 dogs per clip.

FG42:

Pros-Good fire rate. Average Mobiliy. Good reload time.
Cons-Runs out of ammo FAST. Bad at hip firing. Iron sights suck and isn't really helpful. Turns weak after wave 10.
Against dogs-Okay gun to use against dogs. It would however only take out 1 dog per clip. Due to such a fast fire rate for such a slow clip.

Browning m1919:

Pros-Great Firepower as well as a big clip. Best machine gun to use against hordes of zombies.
Cons-Slow as ****. Hip fire isn't too impressive. Can get you killed if you;re running with this.
Against dogs-It's a great use against dogs with such great firepower along with the huge clip. The only problem is the hip firing.

Rifles:
Rifles know how to take out a zombie from medium to long ranges. Most of the rifles are semi-automatic when playing multiplayer but that doesn't apply in zombies. Moderate at hip firing when zombies ever get too close. However, it becomes pretty useless after wave 15.

Gewehr 43:
Pros-Average mobility. Good range. Good reload time.
Cons-Becomes weak after wave 10. Eventually, it will take two clips to kill one zombie with this gun.
Against dogs-You'll be lucky to kill a dog with 1 clip form this gun. Not recommended to use against dogs.

M1 Garand:

Pros-Great firepower. Average mobility. Good reload time.
Cons-Turns useless after wave 12ish. After that, only it's grenade launchers are useful.
Against dogs-Good firepower but the slow fire rate is the problem. Not recommended.

STG-44:
Pros-The only automatic rifle. Great accuracy. Fast mobility.
Cons-Turns really weak after wave 15 and pretty much useless with a slow fire rate.
Against dogs-1 clip from this gun should take out at most 2 dogs per clip. Not recommended however.

M1A1 Carbine:
Pros-Strong firepower. Good reload time. great accuracy. Average mobility.
Cons-Becomes weak after wave 12ish. The fire rate is a pain in the ass.
Against dogs-Not really useful since it has a shitty fire rate.

Shotguns:
Shotguns are great for fast kills, especially when you have a horde following you. The only problem is the reload time. Speed cola is recommended with a shotgun.

Trench Gun:
Pros-Strong firepower. Moderate fire rate. Great mobility. Good clip
Cons-Slow reload time with an empty clip. Eventually gets weak after wave 12ish.
Against dogs-Okay use against dogs, probably 2 shots to kill a dog. Not useful when 2 or more dogs are attacking you unless you are mobile.

Double Barrel Shotgun:
Pros-Strong firepower. Fast fire rate. Great Mobility. Ideal for taking out hordes.
Cons-Really small clip. Reload time isn't too impressive.
Against dogs-It's a good gun to use but it eventually becomes weak and takes up a whole clip to kill a dog. Bad gun to use when you have more then one dog on your back.

TIPS:

-Money matters!!
Money is vital to surviving in zombies. Sure you may have the wunderwaffe, a ray gun, and all perks but what happens when you end up dead and come back with only 200 points?
Stragetic plan: When starting off at the beginning of the match, don't buy a gun. Let those zombies in for the first three waves and 80% of the time you will get 2x points and max ammo thus having a better clip. Once You have at least 2200 points, open the gate/stairs and grab a thompson. No need for the mystery box yet. Thompson is great for up to wave 12ish and you can always get more ammo from the wall. Do this and you'll end up with at least 10,000 points at wave 10ish.

-Stick together!!
Sticking together is vital to surviving a zombie attack. I've seen so many people that split and get taken down one by one, just like in the horror movies.
Stragetic plan: Sticking together is vital, but the area you hold of the zombies is the most important part. Don't expect to survive long when you and you're teammates are camping out in the open by the flogger. Also do not stick in small areas because if zombies overwhelm you, you're ****ed. Try to find a good place to run around. One ideal place is the comm room. The comm room consists of only 2 windows so that way two people can watch the windows and the other 2 watch the entrance. If you think there are too many zombies coming in, just turn on that electric fence. You should ,at least, make it to wave 20.

-Reviving Teammates
Your teammates are vital to surviving. However, this is what I've seen many noobs do. When a teammate goes down, someone just rushes to him and tries to revive him before a zombie attacks him. A zombie attacks him, now two people are down. The 3rd dumbass does the same and gets himself killed. The last guy just jumped and raped by the zombies. When you know it's impossible to revive your teammate, then don't try. You'll just be risking the whole team.
Stragetic Plan: WATCH EACH OTHER'S BACKS! If you see a zombie sneaking up behind your teammate, kill it! Don't wait till it kills your teammate then you kill it.

Communicate!!

Communication, is by far, is the key to surviving. Having no communication results in no strategy thus people split up and go their own way. If you have a mic and the other people don't, tell them to do symbols like, "Nod up and down if you want to go here."

PERKS:
Perks are important. It significantly improves your chances of surviving.

Juggernuag:
If you don't have this, you're a dumbass. Not having Juggernuag is like running in the middle of the battlefield without any clothes on. Juggernuag significantly boosts your chances of survival.

Speed Cola:
Turns all guns with small slips into deadly weapons such as shotguns. It also improves your chances of survival towards dogs whenever using a gun with a small clip.

Quick Revive:
A must-have perk. If you're one of those idiots who try to revive your teammate as quickly as you can with a bunch of zombies on your back, this is the perk for you. Overall it is high important to have.

Double Tap:
Now some people think that the only thing double tap does is waste your ammo twice as fast you're wrong. Only people who don't think and just spray their guns wastes their ammo like this. Aim, take accurate shots and double should do fine. If you're going to spray and pray, don't get this perk.

Well that's all I have. Enjoy and go kick some zombie ass!

Not exactly. The MG42 may have better qualities than the browning, but don't be expecting to keep the MG42 for too long. Browning may have about the same fire rate to the MP40, but it's the firepower and clip capacity (as well as ammunition) that makes it special.

yeah i have, and i still prefer the mg42, with double tap, you will kill a whole wave of zmb in a few sec, while with browning, you will either miss, or get swarmed before you can kill them all

you forgot the ray gun, wunderwaffe and flame thrower in this guide.
also trench gun takes dogs down in 1 shot up to round 25ish.
hope this helps B-)

if i recall correctly, trench gun is a one hit kill on dogs and imo the best gun for dogs lol save for the magnum which is also a good gun you forgot to include in this guide. Magnum = 1 shot kills for anything.

Save Point
well mg42 has pretty good fire power and speed in shootong but burst fire is a great technique for it and double tap on a browning is just more dead zombies.... BUT if u have both an mg and a browning dont get double tap...... mg SUCKS with that
