Go on to the main page. Go to the game icon and go to game utility data find call of duty 5 and delete it. Then when you go to play on it, you will have to download it again.

ok i tried to do that because when i start up COD at the very start, all i hear is the error message sound like somethings corrupt, and i get a black screen. i cant hit the PS button or backout. and i was just playing it a few mintues ago. i did what you said but it still freezes.

heres my real question. if i delete my save data in that folder [Game Profile] will i have to start all over again? mostly in multiplayer? like will it reset my online stats? like im new again?

No. Just let it do what it does, this guy just has no patience.

no it does not just delete it and then you can play. It DOES NOT affect your online stats since they are not even stored on your ps3. All it does is affect single player and your online settings.
