(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i'm fairly new to making patches, but a friend asked me if it's possible to make a ps3 patch that can connect to Xbox's call of duty 5 servers instead of psn's and i didn't know either. although i'm fairly sure it's probably not possible, i guess it doesnt hurt to ask. as far as i can see, nobody's even posted anything on this topic.

what i'm asking is, is there a way to modify a ps3 patch so you can play on xbox-live games. although i highly doubt it, i'm just curious.

i do not believe that is possible. im just not sure how they would connect because they are 2 different systems.

well i personally don't believe that seeing ps3 and xbox as separate systems make much of a difference though, as they both connect to external servers that Activision hosts in order to play online, the issue i'm seeing is, if there's some sort of unique auth code for either system hidden in the game files or something along the lines of that.
