Okay so I'm new to the process of jailbreaking a ps3.
Few questions:
Does it matter what firmware the jailbreak is to use the patches/mods?
Where do I install the mod/patches
How do I activate it?

need to be on FW 3.55 (if your online you cant do it)
to check go to settings---> system settings ----> system info (i believe)
put the CFW in a folder in this directory PS3---> Update
start up your system and its on
