I've given some thought on how one may have to turn on the power. I don't know if anyone else notice the random generator that was near the box and how it was active, but maybe, now don't quote me on this, the Wunderwaffe is necessary to turn on the power to the transporters.
I figure I should offer an explanation on the comment I made earlier. No, I don't work for Treyarch, and no, I haven't seen anything that no one else has seen. I'm merely stating that there could be a possibility that, unlike a switch in Verruckt, that you would have to use the Wunderwaffe to kick on the power. It would be a cool game play mechanic that would really make the game play experience that much more interesting. I mean, hinging the entire game's power on a weapon you have only a chance of getting? Genius! IMHO. This is all just speculation and if I'm right, kudos to me, if I'm wrong, then nothing lost.
