(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); You've probably tried being that ninja, all stealthed up, waiting for that prey, only to be found dead with a ratio of 2 and 15, or you could possibly be the sniper, all suited up with your bouncing betty, but always missing that second bullet to get a kill. Or youre just bored being a beast of your own "class" that you wanted to try something else.

Well what your about to read is my guide to properly Run and Gun. With my method, i was able to turn my 1.45 ratio into a whopping 2.09 k/d ratio. Mainly its because i've played TDM.
The Guide:
The aim for the R&G style is to find the enemy, no matter how many, and destroy them at all cost. R&Gs equipments consists of automatic SMGs and nothing else. The reason being is that SMGs give you better mobility than any other gun, contributing to your survival. SMGs also have a high rate of fire which is needed because when your running, and when you are suddenly faced with an opponent, that quick fire rate will take them out before you get killed.

The best game types to play in:
Team deathmatch, Deathmatch, War, Basically a game type where you can respawn often per game.

Equipment:
I have my personal equipment that I use for R&G and it hasnt failed me so far. You'll notice they are all SMGs. Silencers are not needed for the R&G style play due to the fact that you want to kill as many enemies as possible, and attracting them will further enhance that play style.

Main weapon: Thompson
attatchment: Round Drum
Secondary weapon: Any pistol of your choice
Primary Grenade: Sticky Grenade
Special Grenade: Any special grenade of your choice
First Perk: Special Grenadex3 (if you havent unlocked bandoiler)/ Bandoiler
Second Perk: Stopping Power
Third Perk: Steady Aim
Vehicle Perk: Any perk of your choice

Note on this class: The Thompson will provide an accurate kill, and equipped with the round drum, can get you a decent kill without having to worry about the small clip to reload. This is the basic class for a R&G. Weather it be a PPSH-41, a Thompson, or a MP40, it wont matter what SMG, because they are all useful for this type of gamestyle.

How to play as a R&G:
R&G DOES NOT mean that you run out into the the middle of the field, and kill everyone. R&G means to TACTICALLY run around, using cover at time, trying to find the opponent, and attack at the right time.
Know the limitations of you weapon. If it has low accuracy and range, you probably shouldnt be sniping with it. If you somehow spot an enemy half way across the map and you happen to have an apparature sight on your SMG (the only weapon you would really need to have it on is an MP40 or maybe even a type 100) you probably should let that one go because 1) You would give away your position ( and the only time you would want to do that is when you know where the enemy is) 2) you probably will not kill him and end up with less ammo to begin with. When you do find the enemy, unleash hell on them. With Bandoiler and a Round Drum, you probably dont need to worry about ammo or reloading, your goal is to kill everyone and unload lead into their head.
As a R&G you want to have the habbit of shooting from the Hip instead of aiming. Thats where steady aim comes in handy. Aiming should only be used for trying to attack an opponent that you think would be to hard to kill using Hip fire. Aiming slows your movement down and makes you more of an easy target as opposed to your fast movement when firing from the hip. When encountering an enemy, adjust your camera so that they are in your crosshair, as it will slightly lock on. you try not to move your crosshair as often but instead your body. Keep the camera steadily in the middle and move around your opponent going left/right, and then vice versa. You basically want to make a semi circle around your opponent, and half way through the circle, you go back the other way around him. I love to keep my camera sensitivity at low as it helps to make my shots more accurate because my camera doesnt jerk as often. Like i said, you dont really need the sensitivity past low because you should practice moving your body and the camera as slow, but accurate as possible.

A R&G is more effective when they flank. Look at your radar and see where the majority of your teammates are heading to. Then go the opposite way and try to meet them at their destination. (they go left, you go right) That way, you as a R&G, not only flank them on one end, but also have enough fire power to take out half of the opposing team.

Practice shooting from the hip, emphesize on flanking and tactical running and you'd be a pro at R&G racking up your game to 48 and 6. Know the limitations on your weapons, and be smart on the way you use your guns.

Nice post. I agree with all the above but I use bomb squad instead of bandolier. I just pick up another weapon when I kill someone.

MP40 w/ round drum
bomb squad
stopping power
steady aim

that's my class of choice

If you have an mp40 with round drum then try this

MP40 w/round drum
Bandolier or Bomb Squad
Double Tap
Steady Aim

All you do is spray and pray

this is what i use until i get the ppsh.
type 100 w/ extended clip
revolver
1st perk: betties, satchels, or bandolier
2nd perk: Stopping power
3rd Perk: steady aim or last stand
it works well and i got like a 30-4 in one game

I didn't know you got ROUND DRUM for MP40, I always unlock Dual Magazines.

I think that guy did mean Dual Magazines, not Round Drum. Round Drum is PPSh-41.
