How exactly do you know this for sure... I honestly don't think you know what you are talking about.
If you wanted to bring in real logic in the argument of teleportation/time travel then here you go:
If we somehow made a device that allowed you to teleport, that device would
need to have a clone. Without one, the other one would never work properly. If you had more than one going to the same teleporter, then you would have an issue. Some molecules may go to one teleporter while the rest go to the other. The same rules apply with time travel.
In order to teleport to another place/time you would need exactly two devices to do so in order for it to work in the way it was intended.
Even if you are right, I don't understand why they would do it that way when it would be impossible (even though teleportation isn't even possible yet itself)
