1) 2 shoot kill
2) same power as doble barrled shotgun
3)easy fire from hip
4) more ammon than an MG (with dual magazine) MG42 and Browning both have 50 MP40 has 64 and PPSH-41 has 70 so there saying that SMG's have more ammo than MG's
5) all best attachments (suppressor, aporatus, dual magazine)
6) 99% of everyone on COD uses it
7) single handadly ruined COD
not 1 game without someone using it

so why is it in the game well you ask beacue JD the community manager loves it he is an MP40 noob he uses dual magazine, betties, jugganaught and martydom so he makes it look like the game is balanced and the people like the gun to treyarch so they dont change it thats why beacuse he cares more for him self than the community he is a B******.

Boss is perfectly right. The MP40 requires no skill to use, whatsoever. ****, people don't even aim in with the damn gun anymore!
The MP40 has singlehandedly unbalanced the entire non-hardcore multiplayer game. And like Stopping Power hogs attention from all the other Tier 2 perks, the MP40 overshadows the rest of the guns.
How often do you see someone with a non-scoped bolt-action rifle? Or a shotgunner? Heavy MGs are even rare these days, too. People are afraid to use slower weapons, weapons that require skill. They want the easy way out.

MP40 kicks butt, i use dual magazine with stopping power and steady aim, i dont even have to use the scope even on big maps like seelow i refuse to use the scope, lol^ I LIKE ANYONE THAT USES AN MP40!!!!!!!!

Boss....come on man. All of NGU knows you have an Unhealthy Obsession with hating the MP40. Also, there has been AT LEAST 15 other threads on this subject. Let me state some Facts for ya. The MP40 was one of the most widely used guns in WW2 by the Whermacht. So it would be Completely historically Inaccurate to exclude the MP40 from a WW2 era game. Also, where did you collect you data. I just want to know where you got the "99%" usage from...

With ANY first person (and third person) multiplayer game, there will ALWAYS be a better gun. Its just natural. And there are drawbacks to the MP40: 1. Decreased Rate of Fire 2. Inaccurate Iron Sights

So you can continue to complain about the gun, but I can 100% Guarantee that Treyarch WILL NOT remove the gun because of disgruntled players such as yourself.

So PLEASE chill out with the complaining. We realize the MP40 is overused, so how about you break the mold and show other people that other guns can be better if used correctly.

lol i love the mp40 when i kill people with it,but if i get killed by someone with it,i hate it lol.and another thing its not 2 hit kill,maybe with perk/head chest shot.

huh the only reason ppl bitch about it is because it takes a low lvl if it was lv 30 or 40 ppl wouldn't mind.
I think the ppsh and type 100 are 10 times better anyway.
