I am posting my strategy so that others can enjoy Der Riese to the fullest. The strategy should work for most people. It is reliant on double tap and speed cola. Juggernog is optional but, of course, comes in handy quit a bit. Now depending on how many people you are playing with depends on what your main object should be. (Except for staying alive of course) If you have a full team of four then go ahead and link all the teleporters as quickly as possible. Make sure you buy a gun off the wall (I recommend the MP40) and then spend ALL of your points to link the teleporters.
How do you link the teleporters?
Step inside a teleporter. Press 'x' and then run back to where you first started by the pack-a-punch machine. You will get a prompt to press 'x'. Repeat for the remaining two.
How do I use the Pack-a-Punch machine
You have to have all three teleporters linked to the mainframe. It is located where you start the game.
The reason for linking the "TPs" so quickly is to allow you ample time to get a decent weapon and get it upgraded as quickly as possible. You don't want a HMG. (Except maybe to have fun with until you have to do some running)
Now this is where things differ from a team and a single person. A lone player will pretty much be running from the beginning. I strongly recomend having all the doors open. Some doors you dont really go through alot but when you have to deviat from the plan it helps to not have to open that one door. Anyway, after having atleast one gun upgraded and accumulating about three to four thousand points you want to go to "Z-C". Its the teleporter towards the right of where you spawn. Stand in the teleporter and look outwards and just shoot into all the zombies coming at you. If you have jugg let them actually get right on top of you before you port out. As you land look to your right and the horde should be coming to you. Fire into the mass for just a moment before you turn around and go to "Z-A" the teleporter to the left. Run up the hall make the little u-turn and get just inside the door. Proceed to turn around and fire all you got into 'school' of zombies. Once they get a little close, run up the stairs, turn and shoot, they get close again run to the TP and port out. Run back to "Z-C". REPEAT. If you actually understand the way I have described it, it should be fairly easy to survive. I did this for five rounds but I had four people worth of zombies. Once my my team went down and I couldn't revive them at level fourteen, they died every round afterwards but I pulled us to level twenty.
Now the team aspect is pretty much the same but you want the designated 'porter'. The person that has jugg is preferable. This person will be in charge of when to actually port away. Like I said earlier, let them be right up on you before you port. Heavy machine guns can be used in a team but the person using it needs to also have a light gun to run with. The HMG should be used mostly when standing at Z-C since there is plenty of 'wiggle' room while they run towards you.
Whether with a team or solo, dont be afraid to just pick up the Type 100(at Z-C) or MP40(Z-A). Whether or not you upgrade it, as long as you have speed cola and double tap, they get the job done but at a snail pace.
