Also, I know that most cheaper capture cards only support SD quality so would it be possible to play the game in HD but record in SD, becausse the game looks crap on my TV if i dont play in HD. Anyone thinks they can help?

BLITZBOX HD is what you need, record in SD while you can play in HD with the HDMI! Its like $120 but i had the same problem you have with wanting to play in HD while recording in SD, kinda expensive but really worth it!
