i think the offical equation is:

zombies = (No of players x 2) x round
SO...
on rnd 1 there is 8 (for 4 ppl) (for the retards out there that means 2 each!!!)
on rnd 2 there is 16 (for 4 ppl) (thats 4 each)
on rnd 3 there is 24 (for 4 ppl) (if you can work this out then congrats... you have the I.Q. of a 10 yr old!!!)

when you play solo that means one player.
1 x 1 x 2 = 2?
first round on solo you have 4 zombies, second round you have 6 :|

i don't know i play zombies as a team!
no offence but treyarch developed it as a cooperative mini game hence why it is in the coopertive section of cod not the single player.

i believe ( and this is my own personel opinion) that to play zombies on your own means that either: you don't have/can't get other players or you are practising/finding out stuff.

The amount doubles every round, with 4 players, 8 zombies for Round 1, Round 2, 16 zombies, Round 3, 32 Zombies and so on.

I counted the zombies that appeared on 4 players up to round 4 and it followed that equation.

round 1-8 zombies
round 2-16 zombies
round 3-24 zombies
round 4-32 zombies
got a nuke so couldn't count any higher.

Pretty sure theres 38 for round 1 and 1 for round 5(If anyone actually believes this then im sorry to say your so gullable)

this was asked before, but Ill say again and i have personally counted

4 players:
1st=8zombies
2nd round=24zombies
3rd round=72zombies
etc.

3 players
1st=7 zombies
2nd=21 zombies
etc

2 players
1st=6zombies
2nd=18zombies

1players
1st=5zombies
2nd=15zombies
etc

that does not count nuclear bomb or dogs etc.
After round of dogs, I have no idea but lots

dogs (not to sure..)
1st round=16dogs for 4 players
1st=12dogs for 3 players
