rather than downing somebody in front of the box you could do this without any hassle at all.

Put your gun in the PAP, as soon as you do turn around, run down the stairs and buy the KAR off the wall, quickly run back to the PAP stand in front, switch to your betty and as soon as you see the betty in your hand press x and take the gun from the PAP, you must move quick and sometimes you must switch back and fourth a time or two with your betty in order to pick up the gun out of the PAP....... This same Betty method must be used when upgrading the 3rd gun at tha pap or you will lose it.
