well the thing is that the zombie back story isnt complete thats why theyre expecting another map pack

I don't think it will be as soon as september 24th because they usually release some info about a while in advance but i think they are making one because they never post stuff anymore on callofduty.com so i think everyone is working on it

But why would they add all those 'secret messages' and the date on the calender for? Even if there is going to be one or not, they probably want this one to leave a mark and confirm it later cause they say it's going to be the last. But then again you never know...

The story is more or less complete. There are many threads which explain the story. A little common sense/imagination fills in the rest.

To summarize, weird experiments went bad. The zombies/dogs were not supposed to get loose, but did. Now a team is sent in to "fix" the problem, only the problem was a lot worse than people thought.

Concurrent or later experiments were performed in other locations (SNN, Veruckt). Same results: zombie outbreak. To me, it appears that the first map (NDU) is the last in a chain of events. Possibly the last chance for man kind to defend against the zombies, based on map descriptions in singleplayer, the intro movie for the 1st map, and how the newest map says Der Riese is "where it all started" and "zombie...homeland." Looks like the last map is first in events, and the first map is the last in events.

Searching for more "clues" or easter eggs gives the map higher replay value, but probably nothing more.
