then you need an upgraded kar98k so you can get more ammo for it

The title is kind of misleading; the word "guns" should be changed. It should have been called "buying a gun under the map" or "buying the kar under the map".

You don't really need to upgrade it because if you can buy the gun,then you can just buy ammo when you're low on it. It helps if it is upgraded but I would rather not,as it just costs way more money for ammo and upgrading the gun in the first place.

I had 50000 under map and out of ammo on ray gun and ppsh on level 25
if i upgraded kar and and kept buying it i would have finished the level and upgradded kar is 2 hit kill i think

Is it? It actually depends what round you are on aswell. You don't need it upgraded on the lower rounds but on the higher ones you do.
