I found it strange that they were so precise with the amount of Velocity needed to "bring down" whoever it is that the songs point of view is sung from. So I searched 7.62 on the net and came up with this.

Look specifically at the background, it mentions both the Gewehr and the Karabiner 98k (Kar98k) rifles, this is extremely EXTREMELY interesting, especially in backing up the "It's right in front of you" theory as in the starting room, the two guns found on the wall ARE the Gewehr AND the Kar98k, could you possibly have to use these weapons to do something specific? We know that the Gewehr becomes the G115 Compressor, which links in with the mysterious "Element 115" which seems to be the power source for most of the Zombie related things, the Kar98k after being in the PaP becomes the "Armageddon", Armageddon being a religious event in which the world would "be completely destroyed by a battle between Heaven and Hell". The strange thing is, why in the song does it claim to "Bring you down?" could the song be being sung from a different point of view at this point? I'm still unsure who the song is directed towards but I think my best bet would be Samantha Maxis, Dr Maxis' corrupted daughter. As for "Impunity" I found the definition as:

1. Exemption from punishment.
2. Immunity from detrimental effects, as of an action.

Detrimental being harmful, painful or hurtful actions.

I can add to this actually...the .357 does NOT shoot 7.62 rounds, BUT... the M1 Garand and the M1A1 Carbine do. Not sure if that helps, ut maybe. The Carbine is right outside the mainrame on the Trench side, towrds Teleporter A/1.

another part of the song "reason is treason" treason being an act against the king. would this have anything to do with der riese or not?

Treason is actually any act of betrayal. The zombies betrayed Dr. Maxis when they failed to follow his orders.
