happend to me once one of my friends went to pack a punch at round 26 mid round it looked clear so he went to the teleporter and all of the sudden his points went up like crazy and he went down (his mic was dead) so i told the group i was going to go revive him and see what happend so i teleported and saw about 20+ (i couldnt count lets leave it at enough that i didnt wana take the time to count >.> turn around and look at me so i decided to run left since i dont like that spot where the zombies jump down at you. but i was blocked so i did a 180 and looked right and same issue. so buy now the zombies were climeing up to me and i yelled into the mic "**** IF I GO DOWN DONT REVIVE ME THERES TOO MANY" and my friend replied "uhh dude we are getting flooded we are alredy teleporting we have eletrizity around us" so there telporter killed a good amount and we were forced to camp out on the PaP machiens platform the person who had the waffle was th one who went to pack a punch and he was the one with monkeys when we got an opening to the right we ran like hell that way. we took the stairs so we could turn on the power behind us and teleport back to screw the zombies inside the power but some moron saw a nuke on the otherside of the eletrizity and said " ILL BE OK I HAVE JUGGERNAUT" you can guss what happend to him =.= we coulnt get to the stairs and were forced to back up in the creamatourium sort of place were the box was so i tested my luck and got the waffle my friend tryed and got the flamethrower for his un pack a punched stg and thank god he did because immeadatly after my first shot of the waffle insta poped up and he flamed everything that moved and we lived to fight another round and needless to say got raped up the butt the next round =.=

Lol to put a long story short,never go solo mid round and don't attempt to save them unless you know you can or it's vital.

Thompson off the start owns, hands down. Cheap price, quickly available, perfect location, and it takes off zombie heads with very few rounds. Downside is the small clip is not adequate for higher rounds; when accuracy suffers from faster moving zombies, the additional power becomes less important.
Also, it gets the most points from easy 100 point headshots and fast fire rate. Either shotty is powerful but only 50 points per zombie is weak, and it takes forever to open map. This is the same reason I wouldn't take a ray gun or waffle before round 25, with so few points I'm screwed if I run out of ammo.

I get Thompson early, then jugger and speed, then get stg44. Why waste almost 1k at box multiple times when you don't need to? This shouldn't matter unless you are trying to compete with other players. (In that case, go play solo and take a picture of your high score for us).

One of the most overlooked guns is the type 100. It gets a ton of points, is easy to shoot heads off with, and is also cheap. Upgraded it is similar to the reaper with smaller clips and less ammo, but every bit as effective. Dual SMG's = lots of points and headshots.
