Trailer (monkey bomb trailer)
Let start with my opinion for a start, this video was made before edits to the map were made, treyarch obviously tried to make it more complicated that it is now but failed doing so, this is proved as the type 99 were in the game, and so was the SODB (more on this later)
The voices were probably put into add cinematic effect to give a story how they got there, but proof is i havnt found all the voice samples arnt in the der riese we know or are they? so theres 2 options
1. it was made (the clock, blown out wall etc) for cinematic experiences
2. they were taken out in edits along with everything else
EDIT: in the trailer at 0:42 there is no arm on the switch, proving that the map HAS had edits
Tour of treyarch video
now you all should know by now what i think about this, i do say it enough after all lol. well im going to leave you with just something to think about
Remember when the first videos for map 3 came out? the developer diary's?
1st. Multiplayer
2nd. Der riese
3rd. (now think carefully) Tour Of Treyarch
On the 1st video it said 1 of 3 videos, 2 of 3 etc, we never got the 3rd one (that i can remember) so there for the tour of treyarch video was the third, and that means it was already filmed as its the 3rd one of 3. so if you think carefully that means the "no where close to finding them all" is referring to the easter eggs yet to be found in Der riese (as it was filmed before hand yet for some reason wasnt released till recently)
EDIT: Just to further back up the theory the tour of treyarch video was made before der riese was actually released, take a look at one of the boards "Edward is alive", now considering most of the community already speculated that Edward is Richtofen when the tour of treyarch vid was put on XBL, there isnt any real need to have it on the board and focus on it As such is there? this is just imo, i could be well off the mark, but its just something else to think about
NOTE: there is the OTHER trailer that everyone seems to have forgotten that DOESNT have the blown out wall (not sure about the clock) only 1 of the videos has the blown out wall

Illuminated Clock
I have already done a thread on this but il do a simple version
On the trailer there are 3 outer rings with the middle 1 lit up
In the der riese we know there are only 2 outer rings, with no tubes or transparent rings, i also havnt found any hidden script with code or triggers to do with the Clock, and yes i have looked although not thoroughly
The dimensions are slightly off as well, if a lit up ring was there, it wouldn't line up with the video's clock
i dont know why it was taken out, maybe when the map was bigger it had sme importance, maybe it is an alternate der riese, or maybe treyarch will update it and fix everything that was taken out, who knows

Textures

i dont really need to say anything except ALL and i mean ALL developers leave unusable textures, items, and code not needed in the game in the final build. treyarch is definitely not an exception because of all the glitchs and mistakes that are and have already been in the game already, are you really that surprised something got left in?

Guns

were not taken out because of problems or anything else like that, people forget, the SODB was in EVERY SINGLE NZ MAP, so how could they have problems with a gun that's been in from the start? the code for the type 99 is in the files (see below for explanation)#

Secret Area/ Now unplayable area's

The reason why i mentioned the above first is for the simple fact, the only logical (IMO) reason for this is the fact they were wall weapons, in a now unusable area of the map. the aforementioned area is (what i came up with)is the area to the right of the hanging man in the courtyard
This area is the biggest area that could be playable (thats visible) and the only other area that could house another building or a kennel (My Idea)
The area is rendered differently from the zombie spawn area
There is a wall (that isnt aligned to the border skin) that DOES have a zombie barricade
There is a load of crap in the courtyard, yet why have a zombie barricade if there isnt a zombie spawn point over there? for the simple reason it USED to be playable
How did we USED to get there? (See below)

Metal shutters

The Shutters (Teleporter A and furnace room shutters) are the ONLY things other than the wooden planks that are animated
You can shoot through them
Your characters body can go through them
This give substantial evidence to support my theory of them use to be able to be opened and the area to the right of hanging man

I did go back and read thoroughly Crop circles post's and noticed a few digs etc and im going to ignore them this time, as im trying to rise above it regardless of other members (Not aim at Crop circles) on this forum testing my tolerance

What happened to der riese

Well as said above i believe Der riese is dramatically different from what the original map was like, i say this because i think we have had a watered down version of the original map, due to time constraints (possibly given by Activision themselves) Treyarch had to make changes
The second possibility is however the most likely. as we all know treyarch had to release the update for map pack 3 before it was supposed to because of the hacks, this alone might have forced them to release map pack 3 before it was due to be
If this is the case certain things had to be cut out altogether as they didn't have time to fully test the map themselves, if there was something important to do with the clock (for example) they might not have had time to sort code, triggers and scripts etc to make der riese less glitchy (for all we know having it in might have caused more problems than treyarch could deal with due to time constraints)

Crop circles Power switch (from cod.com)

although i have never mentioned this, His idea on there being a second power switch isnt that far wrong
although his m1a1 power switch is wrong, its not completely far fetched
first off il talk about the mainframe = another power switch
ok, we know (using normal means of mine and other things people have tried it cannot be operated, however the wires do lead to the "Exit" teleporter, which is connected to the switch itself
if it was able to be activated (before edits) it is more than possible that it would invert the flow, allowing you to teleport from the mainframe itself (to another teleporter altogether possibly, who knows at this point)
however from the mp40 room, you cant see the switch (At least not by normal means to shoot it, so sync-porting has been ruled out completely
it is possible to shoot in from the blown out wall from the trailer (before edit) this would allow you to shoot it from a distance (providing there was an elevated walkway)
this alone is the only reason why i can think of why the wall would have seen blown out in the trailer
i dont know what crop circles thinks about this, he might be thinking something completely different

Something else for Crop circles
Ive done a quick search in the files for der riese, and searched all the scripts for specific words (in this case the word "Clock" i couldn't find anything anything to do with the clock, so i doubt it can be illuminated (Hence why i first said the clock was either changed during edits or it was put in for the trailer only)
i know you are also going through files etc so could you (if you get the chance) have a look for yourself to confirm if this is true or not, thanks

Patches
* The sign for the hangar says Hangar instead of Automobile Garage.
* Thunder can now be heard.
This patch, however, has been reversed. You can tell because the Hangar sign has gone back to saying Automobile Garage. Why the patch was reversed is unknown.
Why change a simple sign? does it have something to do with mickey saints Glitch/ words that flashed up? who knows, just more to think about
IMO it seems stupid just to change a sign, it must have some relevance to gameplay in some way
