Hey everyone! My Xbox broke, so now I can't play Call of Duty, or anything! So I decided to write this. This is a pretty fun 2-player strategy me and my friend came up with. I haven't seen any other strategies like this and it seemed to work pretty well. It almost makes the game too easy.
Round 1
Let all zombies in, line them up for a 6 shot in the lower chest (to conserve ammo), then individually shoot each one twice, then STAB them to finish them off. Or whatever round 1 strategy you use, we found that this one works best. Avoid insta-kills and nukes, but do try to get max ammo and double points as much as possible.
Round 2
Follow the same strategy. Let them all in, this time you can shoot them 8 times in the chest then stab them. If you run out of ammo, buy the Kar98k, BUT FIRST use your grenades, let the other player get kills, and then use their grenades, you can even stab zombies (it's only round 2) but the point is to try to get more ammo before you waste the 200 points on the Kar.
Rounds 3 - 4
Now you'll stop letting so many in. If you haven't yet, I suggest buying the Kar98 for this round. You could buy the Gewher but it will cost a bit more, and really it's just as effective as the Kar. You can move whenever you feel like, but I suggest moving on 4. You could very likely get hellhounds on round 5, and the pistol and kar are not good defenses against dogs.
Strategy
When you move, open the door to the left (while facing the PaP, the Double-Barreled Shotgun way) then open the Thompson way. Both of you must buy Thompsons, they are crucial for building points. Have someone go down and turn the power on to lower the bridge. Also, if you have the points, bypass going to the box, and GET JUGGERNAUT!!
Now for the next several hundred rounds, you'll stay on the bridge. One player on each side. The player nearest the Double-Tap machine will stand as close to where the bridge meets the ground, facing that way. Player two will turn left after crossing the bridge and stay right up there at the top of the stairs. Make sure you buy Juggernaut as soon as you possibly can, then invest in betties! Place betties on the bridge, all the way around the corner to where player 2 is. More betties means more defense so both players should have betties.
When zombies start coming, just stay in one place and shoot zombies, aim for the head. If zombies get too close, SLOWLY make your way backwards. For player 1, slowly back up over the bridge. For player 2, slowly go back the corner of the bridge, BUT NOT TOO FAR BACK. If anyone gets over-run, you both will have to drop down. Communication is key. If player 1 has to drop, run to where player 2 is holding out and both of you drop down from there. If player 2 has to drop, player 1 runs over to where player 2 is and again drop from that same place.
Once you drop, you both should run back the Thompson way and get back in your spots. This should have run the zombies around and will give you a few seconds to get everything in position, such as betties. Later, you will want to open the door to teleporter C, to give you another place to run if you have to drop. Run to the catwalk and camp at the window that you can jump out of and hold off as many zombies as possible. When you start getting overrun by zombies, drop and run back around and up to the bridge.
I don't recommend using the teleporters or barriers until round 15, and that's ONLY IF YOU REALLY NEED IT, points are more precious early on.
For dog rounds, I like to find a nice corner to chill in. Preferably by a door at the end of a hallway. The one under the bridge to the right (facing the HELP wall) does nicely. Both of you can stay there or the other player can go somewhere else. But really, dog rounds aren't much to worry about if you have juggernaut and some perks.
Rounds 5 - 10
Now, there's no specific round to do these things, so I'll just give you a general overview of what to do. First, avoid the mystery box, or you will be wasting your points. You CAN hit the mystery box, but do so sparingly, once every round or so. Kill zombies, get points. Your first purchase should be Juggernaut. Your second purchase should be bouncing betties. If you have a lot of points, you should buy Speed Cola, but if you don't have the extra points, just save them up and link teleporters as early as possible. With this strategy and a few double points, it's easily possible to have both perks, betties, and at least 1 upgraded weapon by round 10. We usually upgrade the Thompson first, because it's a pretty good early upgrade, but if you happen upon a better weapon, feel free to upgrade that.
Rounds 11 - 15
Now you should be set for awhile. In these rounds, focus on getting points. In between rounds, go to the mystery box, but only hit it a few times, that way you'll have points left in case you get downed and have to buy perks again, or if you get a really good weapon to upgrade. Ideally, you should have a light machine gun, such as the PPSH to run with, and a heavy machine gun, such as the MG42. Of course, what weapons you use with this strategy is left somewhat to preference. Someone can have a wunderwaffe, and it WILL help later on for rounding zombies up and taking on the hoard, but it's not good for getting points, and may end up killing you.
Rounds 16 - 20
Now it gets interesting. As long as you stick to the strategy, you will be fine. If you have to drop from the bridge, turn the barrier on (if you have to) and run back to the catwalk, but be prepared to drop back down from there and run back to bridge. If the hoard is too big, jump down towards the teleporter instead, camp there, and then teleport when it gets too intense. Hopefully you can pick up a nuke or insta kill (but personally, I'd prefer a double points), then RUN back to the bridge. The important thing to remember is when you move, you both must move, pretty much right next to each other. That way you wont get surrounded by zombies on your own and get downed. In between rounds, again go for the mystery box, but don't over-do it. Both players should have quick revive, just in case. At least one player should have monkey bombs, prefferrably 2, but the box usually isn't that nice...
Rounds 20+
The same strategy, with a few things to keep in mind: If you're still going to the box for a better weapon, or spending points on anything, pretend 5500 is really 0 points. That way, if you get downed, you'll still have enough to get the two most important perks at these rounds, speed cola and juggernaut. Whoever has monkeys should use them wisely. Pretend you omnly have 2 monkeys, and only use the third one in extreme emergencies. Use monkeys when the other player goes down, or if you sense that you are about to go down, you will still toss your monkey if you started the throw before you were downed. Use a monkey to get max ammo, even if it's your last. Again, communication is key. For the most part, you'll want to avoid dropping from the bridge if possible.
I would write more but we were only able to get to round 21, I know we could have made it further, but now my 360 is broken. With this strategy it was so easy, every round. Try this out and tell me what you think. Ideas, suggestions? Welcome.
