(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi everyone,

I just purchased a pair of turtle beach Tango's (which are basically the px51 just BO2 edition), when I first used them I was surprised with the mic/chat quality, it sounded distorted and low quality. I upgraded from px22's and with the px22's mic/chat quality was fantastic.

I'm currently on the ps3 and will be upgrading to the ps4 very soon. I am aware that on the ps4 I am going to have to use a chat cable. This means I won't be using Bluetooth anymore. Will the chat quality improve because it will then become a wired connection to chat?

The tangos have the same boom mic that is present on the xp seven's, so I don't think it is the mic quality itself.

I would say it should improve because anything wired is better then wireless but don't hold me to it.

Actually I just was about to make this thread.... I have some Astro's A40 2013 Ed, & I get told I sound like dog shit lol I have it setup correctly and Astro's don't wanna help me So I may have to buy an Chat Cable for my MW3 Delta's Headset which is sorta like the one OP is using.... How can I fix this problem? I don't understand what the problem is.

I'm not too sure but since update 2.00 the party chat with people sounds much better, so I can only think it's software improvements?

Lucky I don't need a chat cable for the headset I use. If the headset uses an optical cable, you're good to go.

yeah I don't use an Chat Cable either. I also use an Optical Cable too. I mean I have 80% hearing loss So I talk louder then most So I don't know if that's also the problem, But people with the Original Sony Headset sound decent but me with my $275 Headset sound like crap? smh c'mon Sony.

I would stick with wired products, the only issue is that I'm living in a small cramped college dorm room and wires become very annoying.
