Maybe the controller is not working anymore?
Try your controller on another PS4 n let me know :p
Also, maybe the cable is not working? Try another cable as well :-)

Try to plug the usb on a laptop or pc and see if it works on pc , this will show an icon or something on pc , if the issue in dualshock or usb

I got 3 controllers and they all will not connect but they all connect to my mates ps4 straight away. when I plug them into my ps4 the orange light comes on but when I press ps button it just flashes then gose off
