(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys wondering if anybody could really help me i brought a ps4 the other day for £35.00 with the blue light but it is faulty which i already knew about and thought that it should be an easy fix, after reading through forums and watching youtube video's i think my luck has run out on what my problem could be, so here is what happens...

After connecting just the a/c cable and powering the console on it does actually turn on for around 2/3 seconds then shuts down, the fan does start to turn for around a second then i can hear a click from the power supply unit, so when the console shuts off i can press the power button again and i hear the beep but nothing actually happens until i press it again and then it trys to power up again and does the whole process over, i have stripped the console down and cleaned it all out including the psu still to no avail also put new thermal paste on the apu aswell, what could my problem be.

Please move if not in the right section!!

Thanks*

thanks i did try every possible move with this one!! stripping, cleaning, reflowing... i actually thought it had something to do with the power supply so i did end up taking it to a repair shop and i received it back today facing a bill of £65.00 after talking with the guy he stated to me that one of the chips on the motherboard was fried, so he replaced that and BINGO it finally works.. so before you guys do end up thinking that your power supply has gone down and you go out and buy a new one remember that it could be other things beside that thanks once again
