It isn't much of a nuisance-- just concerned for my hard drive/ps4's health. I've tried researching this, haven't found a straight answer, but I have tried rebuilding the database via the recovery screen, along with initializing the PS4 (reinstalling system software) and just simply choosing the update system option, but nothing has fixed it. Every source I've read says to initialize the ps4 completely, so it can be wiped and like out of the box again, but I have quite a bit of games that would take quite a while to reinstall. Is there anyway to fix this besides wiping my console?

Do a barrel roll!
Maybe try backing up all the data onto a external HDD, then upgrade your PS4 internal HDD and copy your data back. You will have to install a new HDD and put the latest software version on your console. Once you have done that you can then go into settings and click on restore data from the backup you had taken originally. If that still doesn't work then a certain game or file on the console must be causing the corruption.
