Post: Windows Vista Home Premium - Blue Screen Unexpected Shutdown?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Can anyone help, my computer gets the blue screen and shuts itself down. it cant be memory because i have rebooted my laptop. by rebooted i mean i went to packard bell on the start menu and i went to smart restore. and i uninstalled everything. I dont know what else i can do without paying for a technician . Please no noobs comment anything stupid (Eg) Get a new laptop or start going on about graphics cards and crap.

i think you will have to let a technician take a look it's not a software problem i think but a hardware one...

How about a suggestion to use Linux? If you do, you'll never get a blue screen of death. Happy On the other hand, if you have problems with Linux too, besides driver problems, then you'll know it's a hardware issue.

I had the same problem once with my XP computer. It kept shutting itself down saying it was trying to prevent any hardware damage. Turns out my hard drive was fried and I had to get a new one. Maybe that is your problem?
