I was looking at one as well, I am currently alltel, but I heard that since verizon bought Alltel that I could use... I would prolly just buy an unlocked one on EBAY.

The droid is a very good phone it is especially really close of beating the iPhone it not even better both phone have advantages and disadvantages. And also there are about 4/5 different droids out

Depends which one your talking about. I just got the motorola droid for verizon a week or two ago when my plan ended and so far its great. Everything ive wanted to do has worked very easy and worked on the first time. Even got a app to make ringtones off songs i have on my phone. Only thing tht sucks is the battery pretty much needs to be charged everynight.

I have a friend with the droid and I like the phone a lot. He switched from the Iphone to the droid and says its a much better phone.

I might be too late but do not get the droid eris. I reget it very much and the minute I can, Im getting an iPhone

I have it and I love it. Great phone with fun apps.

Yea I had the older Droid, the one with the keypad and I broke it about 2 to 3 weeks ago and now I have the Droid incredible and I love it. I miss my keypad though.
