I'm looking for audio/video capture device to record from my TV (while playing Xbox 360). The TV is 1080p widescreen, so that's also what the Xbox 360 settings are right now.

Right now I'm looking at the Dazzle Plus vs. The Pinnacle Video Transfer.

I don't care really about being able to transfer directly to an iPod or anything, which seems to be a main reason to get the Pinnacle Video Transfer instead of the Dazzle (but I guess transferring directly to a USB flash drive could be useful).

What I care most about is quality. Ideally, the captured videos would be high resolution, HD, widescreen, etc. but I don't think that's possible without paying a ton.
The Dazzle Plus also looks like it comes with some nice video editing software which would be nice.

So which has better quality and is better for what I want?
Also, what's the difference between the Dazzle and the Dazzle Plus?
I'm also open to suggestions for other products.

I use a dazlle and it is way clearer than a cap card, i have a pinnacle Dazzle and it works fine! Dazzle plus comes with Pinnacle Studio 11 with the dazzle.

Do you know anything about the Pinnacle Video Transfer though?
And is that the only difference between the Dazzle and the Plus? Because the minimum specs are different but that could just be because of minimum specs for the Pinnacle Studio software. And I'm wondering if the software is worth getting.

Try easy cap 2.0, its cheap, great quality, and very portable, it may need an a/v cable splitter.

I have to get a new dazzle because the dazzle that i have now is not giving the picture(information) to my computer so i am going to get a new one today
