(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); You may need to take a screenshot for several reasons. A homework assignment, making a tutorial, showing a friend something etc.

There are many applications out there that help you take screenshots but in this tutorial I will not be using any of them. My tutorial is designed to be used at any time without the need to install applications.

Step 1
Open up whatever you need to take a screenshot of.

Step 2
To get a screenshot of the whole screen, press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard (above the num pad).

To get a screenshot of just the current window, hold down the Alt key and press "Print Screen". This allows you to take a screenshot of just the current window.

Step 3
If you want to save your screenshot as an image:
Open up a photo editing software such as Paint or Photoshop and go to Edit > Paste to see your screenshot.

If you want to put your screenshot in a Word file:
Open Word and go to Edit > Paste to see your screenshot.

Everyone does. Look closer it could be a button where you have to hold [fn] first. On my laptop its [fn] then [home] on the bottom of the [home] button it says [prt sc] thats it. Its somewhere.
