Well I got a 500 gb HDD for under 120 bucks at radio shack. Your really don't need that much gigs unless you ave a lot of stuff.

unless you plan to use 400, id go with a smaller one, probably costs less

Yeah, 1TB externals are probably the cheapest. The smaller you go, the more you're paying per GB.
